Story: Based on the novel by Sir Gilbert Parker. Drama about a cynical attorney whose faith in mankind is restored. The movie was released with two different endings. In one the main character dies (as in the book), in the other he lives. Theatres could choose which they preferred. Some would present different endings at different showtimes.
