Special note: The Monterey County Film Commission identifies this title belonging to a short film dating from 1912 as having local footage, but provides no details on filming locations. This is a bit problematic because the Internet Movie Database actually lists four silent-era films with this title, two dated 1911, one dated 1913, and another from 1915. Mr. Toy has not been able to confirm which of these was actually filmed locally. Our initial research done many years ago only uncovered the 1913 version, which was previously listed here. The information provided below now references the one listed on the Film Commission's website which was released on December 30, 1911 (almost 1912).
